Dated a guy from Glasgow called “Bertie” that I met in the Algarve thousands of years ago. It was this time of year, and I travelled back to Scotland with him.
I remember how cold it was…and how nice everyone was. Mostly, I remember that I rented a car in London and as “Bertie” did not drive…I drove us, and was that a trip. On the wrong/right side of the road , navigating round-abouts, driving to Aberdeen at night, etc. It was a hoot. Your pic of your view brings it back to me as if it were yesterday, instead of 25-years ago. Ouch! Hurts to even say it.
